Verbs can come at the beginning of a sentance:
Ruith Mairead (Rooi Mai-redge): Mairead Ran
Or closer to the end:
Bha Ise a ruith: She ran.
The second one sounds better, and if you have a name that begins with r in the sentance, the first kinda sounds stupid. "Ruith Raonaid".
Sit: Suidh
walk: Coiseachd
write: Sgriobh
read: Leabh (or leagh)
do: Deanamh
Type: clò-sgrìobh (cloth writing? Possibly refers to the "Ribbon" in type writers.)
