Yeah... apparantly all 'gaians' have really low self esteem. Either that, or gaia's health and safety people are paranoid.
I'm not taking part in this year's event, because it is somewhat insulting and boring. The previous events had some element of risk, even if it was just the risk of not being part of the game for a while. But this one... as long as you have enough friends or stuff, you succeed. The overseer won't say "I'm too tired to charge the trident," if you give him an offering, you won't fail to talk to a whale when getting food and you can always find a way to sue S.I.N. While some of the messages are funny, reading the same thing over and over is boring. And what are the players competing for? The chance to look like a demon (which is kinda cool) or someone's impression of an albino human based on a very battered axolotl.
Yay... exciting. No.
