More experimenting with Gimp. I couldn't have done this in Paint.NET. I also experimented with using my tablet for all the digital editing.
But, urrrgh, this was a pain. I had to work at pretty low quality as Paint.NET had memory problems even on my brand new computer. I wonder if Gimp would have the same problems. It's ok for digital images, but if Gimp has the same problem with high quality images, at best any books I publish will be fuzzy, and they'd probably be rejected because of the low quality I am forced to work at- -;.
While I was studying I just got this image of Hye-Min crushing an ice-cream cone while yelling, so I drew this, my first ever manhwa fanart. It was hard to do, since I have a thing about trying to mimic the style of the art who drew the original art. All of Yun JiUn's character's are so... skinny! I'm afraid that I made Shin-Bi look kinda buff in comparison to how he should. Plus, that boy's hand... I actually drew it too large at first... then I shrunk it just a little and now it looks like his hand is smaller than mine (I have tiny hands).OTL. I used digital tone on Hye-Mins hair because it's actually light orange, even if in the manhwa itself it looks like it's some dark colour. I found it as weird as I find manga using black for clack hair and white for dark brown.
Cynical orange had a small influence on my art at the beginning, just look at the hands of my character's in some of the early glas comics.
Ah well, at least I learned something about asian eyes!
