I had trouble drawing her eyes.
This drawing was the first one where I used gouche to edit the linework on the actual original line work. Its incredible, it didn't show up on the scan at all! When I edited it, I found that the overall feeling was a bit too light...so I experimented with the "screentones" built into my paint.NET 2.1 editor a little earlier than I had planned to.
I came up with this idea when I climbed up to my bunkbed while listening to my mp3 player, and I left it on the table under my bed. Of course, an mp3 player would be too small to see... and I wanted it to tell a bit more of a story so I gave her a broken cd player. How did I do? Did you actually notice the cd player?
